Mountains

We just returned from a family vacation with my dad and step-mom.  We went to Gatlinburg, TN were we enjoyed 3 days at Dollywood/Splash Mountain, walked downtown, partook of delicious eating, and took a spontaneous white water rafting excursion on the trip back.  These past 5 days have been really eventful.  Dad and Dee enjoyed the cabin and watched Elizabeth so that Jon and I could enjoy some time doing things that would be more difficult to do with babies (although we don't mind the difficulty! :-)  We are very grateful for them for taking us and spoiling us as always.  We did get to take Elizabeth to Dollywood, where she enjoyed her first train ride.  Here are a few pictures from the trip.

On the way to the train, we ran into a "bear"

and Elizabeth wasn't too impressed..

She is very excited about riding the train!

Here it is!

All aboard!

Just relaxing

okay, a little too relaxed. :-)

Sweet snuggle time

Melissa should have mentioned that we have titled Gatinburg the "Redneck Vacation Spot of the World" (no offense to rednecks or people who grew up 2 hours from there) :)
