But my sweet husband has stepped in to save the day. He has taken over laundry duties, so I won't have to bring the clothes up and down the basement stairs (I am still the folder/sorter). And, he has taken over cooking responsibilities, temporarily. In fact, he has meal-planned and has a menu for dinner (a.maz.ing).
Here are some of the menu items:
- John Owen's Dijon Pork
- Luther's Beef Stew
- Calvin's Skillet Chicken
- Augustine's Tex-Mex Chicken
- Edward's Cheesy Chicken and Veggies.
He has simply amazed me at his willingness to serve me during this season. I am so thankful for a husband who loves me selflessly and is eager to serve me whenever he can. I honestly don't know how moms do it without such helpful husbands.
Thank you dear husband, for your leadership in exampling how to serve your family. Seeing you work a full-day's dry-wall, and come home to joyfully prepare dinner for us is such a tangible sight of how Christ sacrificially loves his bride. I am truly humbled. Thanks for loving us, and loving the Gospel even more.
