So speaking of leaving the girls at home with their daddy...

..I did it again. I went out to coffee with a dear friend and came home to Jonathan telling me another funny story.

Jonathan was doing work. Hannah was in her bouncy seat and Elizabeth was listening to her CD in our room. He heard Elizabeth run to the kitchen where she dragged her stool to the sink. Over running water, Jonathan could hear her saying, "It's otay. Ok? It's otay." He went to investigate and found Elizabeth like this....

She had gotten in to my mascara on my desk. When Jonathan went to ask her what she was doing, she defensively said, "but daddy, my make-up!"

and one more for good pleasure...

Moral of the story? leave J at home with the girls often. Why? Because we get to benefit from the blog posts that ensue.

Oh, mom, you're always taking jon's side! I thought those 9 months in the womb meant something to you... :)
